Due to the increase of wild life contact at HES Amsterdam (Turtles and dead fishes in the waters next to the building) HES students are invited to go to the zoo “Artis” for a really good price.

With your HES pass plus the HvA pass (which is the white one) and your ID, you get a special entrance price of €2,5 (only two euros and fifty cents). This is incredible CHEAP. The standard price is €17,70 so yeah, really cheap. HOWEVER, (with this price there has to be a “however”) you can only go during the week, so no weekends nor festival days nor national holidays which start the 28th of June until the 17th of August. That means that you have only one month to use this discount or you have to wait until the end of the holidays. Still not bad at all. Even though we are in the exam period, perhaps you can just go there with a book and study while having a wild background. The smells and sound of a zoo are always fun and maybe you can concentrate more than in the HES study silent area (which used to be silent).

If you don’t wanna pay that, you can still enjoy our HES turtle. (we should come up with a name for the turtle, like Hessy or something, what do you think?)
